How It Works
Getting started with Plex is simple. Follow these steps to start streaming.
Go to Plex
Visit plex.tv and sign in with your Plex account. If you don't have one, create a free Plex account first.
Access the Server
Once signed in, you'll see the shared media server in your Plex app. Select it to browse the library.
Browse & Stream
Browse the library of movies and TV shows. Click any title to start streaming instantly through Plex.
Request New Content
Can't find something? Visit the request service to request new movies and shows to be added.
Watching Content
Watch Movies & TV
To start watching movies or TV shows, visit the Plex website and sign in with your account details.
Go to PlexRequest Content
You can request new content through the request system. Sign in with your Plex account details.

Quick Start Guide

Download the Plex app
Search for "Plex" in your device's app store (App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, or your TV's app store).

Sign in to your Plex account
Open the app and sign in with your Plex account credentials. If you don't have an account, create one for free at plex.tv.

Select the shared server
Once signed in, you'll see the shared media server appear in your list. Tap or click on it to access the library.

Start streaming
Browse the library and tap any title to start watching. Plex will automatically adjust quality based on your connection.
Important Note About Downloads
Plex streaming does not include the ability to download media for offline viewing. All content must be streamed directly through the Plex app or website. Internet access is always required.
If you need offline downloads and want to keep your files forever, consider Jellyfin instead.
Discord Community
